Pick 3
Pick 3 players can win up to $500 on a $1 play and try their luck with a variety of wager types to keep things interesting. Draws are held twice every day, so there are plenty of chances to hit a prize. The Day draw takes place at 1:59 PM MT, and ticket sales close at 1:54 PM; Evening numbers are drawn at 7:59 PM and the cutoff to buy tickets is 7:54 PM. Try the Sum It Up add-on to give yourself another way to win.
How to Play
Choose your favorite three numbers from 0 to 9 and mark one in each column of your playslip. To play even faster, mark Quick Pick and the lottery computer will randomly generate your numbers. Next, choose your wager amount: $1, $2, or $5. The more you bet, the bigger the prizes you could win.
Select your wager type; this determines how your numbers can make a winning match with the Lottery's numbers - more information is in the Prizes and Odds section below. The basic options are to match the winning numbers in the exact order drawn, in any order, or match pairs - only the first two or last two numbers.
The most convenient way to play your numbers for multiple draws is Multi Draw. Simply mark the number of consecutive draws you want to enter - 2, 4, 6, 10, 14, 28, 42, or 70.
Sum It Up
Add Sum It Up to your play for another way to take home a prize. Sum It Up costs an extra $1. If the sum of your numbers equals the sum of the numbers drawn, you win. For example, if your Pick 3 numbers are 1, 2, and 3, their sum is 6. If the winning numbers also equal 6, you win a payout - whether the winning numbers match your numbers or not.

Pick 3 Sum It Up Prizes and Odds of Winning
The Sum It Up add-on gives Pick 3 players another chance to win if their numbers add up to the same sum as the numbers drawn. Win on Pick 3, Sum It Up, or both. Sum It Up is not available with the Front or Back Pair wager types. Here are the Sum It Up prizes based on a $1 wager:
